Okay, I say this every year as my New Year's resolution but no, I feel like I need to get started early. I've gained so much weight this year because of personal issues and me just not taking care of myself and right here, right now, I say it stops. When I was doing track I was in the best shape of my life and I've fallen off so bad. It's time for me to get myself together and to keep it up for the rest of my life because Lord knows its harder to lose the weight the older you get. I break this promise to myself every year but enough is enough. Gotta get it together! Thanksgiving didn't really do anything to me mainly because I suck at eating. I'm the number one worst person to take to the buffet because I can only eat one plate and to make things worse, I eat like a turtle. I just make the wrong decisions when I dine out. Hella annoying dude. I'm gonna get me and the bestie back on the right track, back to eating right, and back to running and working out if it kills me.

the fame monster album review

I went and brought Lady Gaga's "The Fame Monster" deluxe edition yesterday and just as I expected, I was not let down. It contains two discs, the 8 new songs on disc 1 and her first album "The Fame" on disc 2.  From day one I knew Gaga would be huge. She's a musical genius and isn't afraid to push the envelope. You can practically dance to every song she has and who doesn't love that? But what I love the most about this album and her writing in general is that there is always an underlying meaning in the songs that we probably will never catch. I caught a few but when I first heard "Pokerface" I didn't know it was about having sex with a dude but she was thinking about a woman. Crazy.

When I got the album I immediately wanted to hear "Monster" because on MTV she told Sway the song was about a guy who has a huge...peen. No, I didn't just wanna hear it for that reason but I wanted to know what the hell the song would sound like. As soon as I heard her say "I never seen one like that before..." I knew I was going to be in for some shit. The song isn't as sexual as I thought it would be but it was still good. She sure has some interesting stories behind these songs.

A few of my other favorites are "Dance in the Dark," "Teeth," "Paper Gangsta," and "Telephone" featuring Beyonce which is SO much better than Beyonce's "Video Phone" featuring Gaga. No one likes a guy or girl blowing up their phone while they're out having a good time. The beat is sick and this Rodney Jerkins' produced track is the best one off the album. Gaga starts off "Teeth" just as nasty as she wants to be. "Don't be scared...I've done this before..." if you couldn't figure it out from the opening line, its about oral sex. The sexy thromping makes you want to move your body.

"The Fame Monster" does not disappoint and the new songs are great along with the great ones from "The Fame." If you love to have a good time and love to dance, this is the album for you. And if you haven't already heard the first album, what the hell are you waiting for? It's hot! Viva La Gaga!

what i deserve.

Me and Military Man Captain Asshole are done. I won't go into details as to why but let's just say that these social networking sites are terrible for relationships. He knows what he did, I know what he did. My heart is breaking and I shed a few tears, all before I had to go to my 3:45 class but then I realized that he didn't deserve me. I was a loving, supportive girlfriend...a damn good girlfriend who would've given him the world if he asked for it but he just couldn't see that. For the past year and a half I stood behind him as he went to do his army thing and I waited for him...hell, I was still waiting up until today for his return home.

I've cried enough tears over this man. No more. I'm taking this as a lesson learned and I'm not going to mope or be depressed like the previous times we've gone through BS. He was my first (as in virginity and love) and I will never forget him nor will I ever stop loving him. But as far as our relationship goes, we're kaput. Gosh this sucks major dick but I have no choice but to move on.

Another relationship is the last thing on my mind. I need to relax and just be single for a second. "It's time for an official nigga," I can clearly remember this convo between me and my best friend. She's found her official dude after a series of flops and so has my other bestie. Why I'm stuck in a rut with these wrong guys is blowing my mind.

It's about that time for me to take a look at myself and see what I may be doing wrong and also to take a look at the men I've dated. I always seem to fall for the bad boys. Oh yeah ladies, don't believe the hype; they're not all their cracked up to be. Anywho, I picked up a few things at the mall today to make me feel better. I have to stop shopping until Black Friday comes. I've been going IN since Saturday and I need to slow my roll.

Love is a beautiful thing and I don't regret loving Captain Asshole. Yes, he hurt me but I'm not the type of chick to shit on someone just because they didn't do right by me. He is an amazing guy, just not the one for me. I bag enough dudes to know there will be others but I'm going to be hella selective. I'm not the girl I used to be and I know what I want in a man and a relationship and I refuse to settle anymore.

I deserve a respectful, caring, God-fearing, strong, independent man who knows a good thing when he sees it.

Yes, I'm back from my short hiatus. People and life were really getting on my nerves so I needed a second to get my head together. Did you miss me? Yes? Yayyy!! No? Screw you.

I have about three weeks left of school and I'm hella excited. This was by far thee worst semester of my college career, I won't even try to fake the funk. Won't go into details but let's just say my daddy father won't be too happy. Oh well. Not feeling him nowadays anyway. He's becoming less and less important to me. That's a whole other story though.

I'm going shopping tomorrow and next week, I'm doing something I've been saying I was gonna do since I was about fifteen. It's a surprise but next week, I shall reveal it! But tomorrow is bittersweet. Mom is going into the hospital for her surgery and I do not like that. I hate hospitals and I'm always worried for my parents' well being when they go in. I don't trust people and I'm just scared for her.

Is there such a thing? I've always wondered. I definitely believe in lust at first sight but love? Nah, I need to get to know a person before I can actually love them. When I first met the boyfriend Mr. Military Man (I hate labels) he didn't phase me not one bit. We would talk on the phone all the time, he'd say the sweetest things, tell me that my face (he had a picture of me on his phone) was the last thing he saw before he went to sleep, and just everything a guy should say to make a chick swoon over them but I just wasn't falling for it. I mean, maybe its because of my past with men but I don't gush over guys. If I didn't talk to him or text him, I wasn't freaking out. He was just another guy to me. Yeah, Summer of `08  I was on my bullshxt and didn't take guys seriously. They were my 'hoes' and boy oh boy did I have a lot of them. Had dudes on deck...okay rambling. Anyway, he initially annoyed me but as time progressed I realized how much I loved him.

I think love at first sight is a crock of shit. There can definitely be a huge attraction between two people but not love. Everyone knows I go ape-shit for Trey and when I first saw him in this magazine (Blender mag, I believe. It was some ad he was in) I thought he was hot, did my research, heard him sing, but didn't fall in love until I saw a few interviews and heard his debut album.

For the longest I've been wanting a tattoo. I've had sort of a fascination with them since I was about fifteen and have been trying to get one ever since. My parents have been against me getting them so every time they said no, I got a piercing. So I'm at 11 piercings and no tattoos. I'm 19 and since I no longer need their permission, I'm going to get one. Now, the only tough part is deciding what to get. I want something original or at least something that not a lot of people have. Definitely not getting a heart, my name, stars, a cross, or anything of that nature because EVERYBODY has those.

I really want a Phoenix tattoo but the one I want would take up my whole back and 1) I'm not sitting through that pain 2) I'd like to be able to show my back and not have people gawking at it and 3) its kind of manly. I'm mad because I always think I have a good idea of what I want but I change my mind at the last minute.

Maybe I should wait till he comes home to get one since he gets all his done for free. Dude has like over 10 tattoos [] and I'm sure he could help me figure out something. Ugh....I hate waiting.

-Paula Patton is pregnant! Yesss! I adore her and Robin Thicke as a couple and I can only imagine how cute their bundle of joy is gonna be. Congrats to the two!

-Am I the only one who doesn't care about Rihanna on Good Morning America or 20/20 or whatever one it is? I'm so over what happened between her and Chris. And I haven't heard not one new song from her...don't really wanna hear them.

halloween=bullshit.

Last night I got all dressed up as a sexy cop. I had the tight romper on, had the handcuffs, the stilettos, the police hat, the badge, the nightstick and drove 45 minutes to a party that was cancelled at the beginning of the day. I was PISSED. Nobody called and told us the party wasn't happening and we wasted gas and toll and for WHAT?! Omg....just writing this is making me pissed off all over again. The one halloween I decide to go all out for was a fucking waste. I cannot believe the bullshit. I spend almost $100 on my costume and it was all for nothing.
